You can make a difference.

Help a Dominican young person find healing and hope in Christ.

Here are 3 ways you can make a difference for a Dominican youth.

When you volunteer, you become a part of our Tree House Haven family.

1Operations Volunteer

Use your gifts and skills with vital behind-the-scenes work including:

Collecting and organizing supplies
Be a part of our social media team
Organizing mission groups (set up schedules, communication, permission slips, etc.)
Help coordinate our annual fundraising banquet

These serving opportunities can be seasonal or ongoing.

2Vocational Instructor

Use your gift of teaching with your knowledge and skills to guide our youth toward competence in a professional trade. You’ll meet our youth for e-learning over a period of 2 to 6 weeks. These are example learning topics; let us know if you have a unique idea! You can also teach in person as part of a short-term mission trip.

Sewing
Woodworking
Cooking
English
Jewelry design and assembly

3Short-term Mission

Join our youth on one of their regular outreaches to impoverished communities throughout the Dominican Republic. Serve those who need the hope of Christ while you build into our youth, the next generation of Dominican Christians.

Come with a few friends or bring your church group. Inquire with us to start planning your trip!

Volunteering transforms you as you help others transform.

Having the opportunity to plant “seeds of hope” in Tree House Haven is a blessing! My family and I know this ministry is fertile soil and the seeds we plant here bear fruit. This ministry reveals what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus – to go into the world to make disciples. Many already have been raised up to be strong leaders, coming out of rubbles of rejection from their youth. I have absolutely no doubt that every penny and act of love going into this ministry are seeds of hope for Dominican youth.

The boys in our home are learning a lot of things for their good and preparing to become independent adults. I would like to teach these things to our boys and others, too, to take care of them. This ministry is sincerely good in my life; it has made me who I am today. And we hope for and expect it to be a blessing to you who serve.
